The message today is about family. We may think of family as just consisting of mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters, and those we regard as close relatives? But the family I wish to acknowledge today is also the family of humanity.
Although we may appear different, speak different languages, reside in different countries, we all have a heart-based connection; and when we realise we are all members of one wonderful family there is no need for war or dissent. We each contribute our own special drops into the great ocean of humanity.
We are also members of the beautiful family of Nature, and the Universe, and when we understand and honour each other we can live harmoniously on this planet we call our Mother Earth.
The indigenous native peoples understood the value of Nature, and often considered the trees, animals, other Beings and plants, whether on land, in the stars, or in the oceans, to be family members, who played an important part in their lives.
When we release our need for superiority we can contribute to the healthy and harmonious lives of all our family members, be they of human, natural, or cosmic backgrounds.
If we believe in the value of family, and understand that we are each connected for highest benefit of all, we will rethink our perceived need to destroy our family members.
We can then begin to create the harmonious connection that will allow us all to live long, happy, and healthy lives on our beautiful planet.
