30-MINUTE PERSONAL SHELL CONSULTATION GIVEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Promoter
This giveaway is conducted by Carly McIlvride, trading as Shell Essences, ABN 38 877 447 233, located in New South Wales, Australia. The Promoter can be contacted at info@shellessences.com.au.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to anyone aged 18 years or older.
Employees of the Promoter and members of their immediate household are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
3. Promotion period
The giveaway opens at 12.00am Sydney time on 5th September 2026.
Entries close at 11.59pm Sydney time on 17th October 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. How to enter
To enter, eligible participants must complete and submit the Shell Session Giveaway entry form during the promotion period, including:
-
their name;
-
a valid email address;
-
their country in which they will be in at the time of their consultation; and
-
an answer to the question: “Right now, I'm ready for...”
Only one entry per person is permitted. Incomplete, duplicate, automated or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.
Entrants should not include highly sensitive medical, financial or identifying information in their response.
5. Winner selection
This is a game of chance. The content or nature of an entrant’s response will not affect their chance of winning.
One eligible entry will be selected at random on 19th October at 11am Sydney time. The draw will be conducted electronically by the Promoter in New South Wales.
6. The prize
The winner will receive:
-
one personal 30-minute Shell Session with Carly via Zoom or FaceTime;
-
one personalised Shell Essence blend selected and handcrafted following the session; and
-
standard postage of the personalised blend to one delivery address.
The total recommended retail value of the prize is approximately $140, including postage.
The session must be booked and completed within three months of the winner being notified, unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Any costs not expressly included in the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
If an advertised component becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may provide a reasonably equivalent substitute of equal or greater value.
7. Winner notification
The winner will be contacted using the email address supplied on the entry form within two business days of the draw.
The entrant is responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address and for checking their inbox and junk-mail folder.
The winner must respond within five business days of the notification. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within that period, is found to be ineligible or declines the prize, the Promoter may conduct another random draw.
The winner’s first initial and last name, along with their state or territory may be announced through Shell Essences’ email newsletter, website or social-media accounts after the winner has been contacted if the promoter chooses to.
8. Personal information and privacy
Personal information collected through the entry form will be used to:
-
administer the giveaway;
-
contact the winner;
-
deliver the prize;
-
send entrants the promised Shell Session discount; and
-
comply with any applicable legal obligations.
Entries may contain personal information about an entrant’s circumstances. This information will be treated confidentially and will not be publicly shared without permission, except where required by law.
9. Discount for entrants
Each eligible entrant will receive a 10% discount toward one Shell Consultation of their choice after the giveaway has closed.
The discount:
-
will be sent to the email address entered on the form;
-
may be used once per entrant;
-
applies only to any type of Shell Consultation;
-
cannot be used retrospectively;
-
cannot be exchanged for cash;
-
cannot be combined with another discount, offer or promotional code; and
-
expires at 11:59 pm Sydney time on 31st January 2027.
Receiving or using the discount does not affect an entrant’s chance of winning.
10. Changes or cancellation
If the giveaway cannot operate as reasonably intended because of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the giveaway. Any material change will be communicated through the Shell Essences website or email newsletter.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. General
The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility, the conduct of the draw and administration of the giveaway is final, subject to applicable law.
The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are delayed, incomplete, misdirected or not received because of technical problems outside its reasonable control.
By submitting an entry, each entrant confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
This giveaway is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
